Kazakhstan should decide until the end of the year on the construction of a nuclear power plant in its territory.

This was told to journalists by Sergey Kirienko, director general of Rosatom State Corporation, 7 June in Astana where talks between the presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan were held.

As the result of the negotiations, the Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbaev said that Kazakhstan did not give up the plans of building an NPP in its territory jointly with Russia.
