On May 14th as a part of ATOMEXPO 2018’s business program Rusatom Service JSC will hold a round table session on nuclear infrastructure “Capacity building in the countries embarking on or expanding their nuclear power programmes”.
Milko Kovachev, Head of Division of Nuclear Power at IAEA, has been chosen as a moderator of the round table session. The speakers list includes Mr. A. V. Ferapontov, Deputy Chairman of Rostechnadzor, Dr. Mohamad Abdallah Chookah, Executive Director of Nuclear Fuel Procurement at ENEC, Ms. Dulinets Liliya - Deputy Director at Nuclear Energy Department of Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, Mr. K. B. Komarov, First deputy director general for corporate development and international business at ROSATOM. Ms. T. S. Terentieva, HR director of the State Atomic Energy Coporation Rosatom, and Mr. E. A. Salkov, General Director of Rusatom Service JSC, will present a joint report.
The essential goal of the round table session is to discuss topical and major issues in the development of the nuclear Infrastructure in the countries embarking on and expanding nuclear power programme with the expertized international community.
The discussion will include the following issues: international atomic community’s best practices in the sphere of nuclear infrastructure development, various challenges the newcomers and countries expanding nuclear power programme may face, as well as means to mitigate risks during nuclear power programmes realization.
The round table will be preceded by “Build your nuclear infrastructure” quest, where every participant of the Forum when downloading a special mobile application on her/his mobile device, then finds all the elements of the nuclear infrastructure (Legal framework, Stakeholders involvement, Environmental protection and safety etc) at the stands presented at Atomexpo exhibition venue. The quest should be completed at Rosenergoatom Concern’s stand.
The round table session “Capacity building in the countries embarking on or expanding their nuclear power programmes” will be held on May 14th, 13.00-15.00, at the “Orange” hall of the Main media centre.
