PJSC ZIO-PODOLSK and Hitachi Zosen Inova AG (Switzerland) have signed Consortium Agreement

PJSC ZiO-Podolsk (subsidiary of Atomenergomash, Manufacturing Division of ROSATOM) and Hitachi Zosen Inova AG (Switzerland) signed the Consortium agreement for cooperation in the area of waste-to-energy recycling plants construction. The agreement was signed at the XI International Forum Atomexpo in city of Sochi.

The parties agreed to set up a consortium with the purpose to develop and submit joint offers, including engineering, supply of equipment and services for electro-mechanical process systems for 4 plants in the Moscow region.

PJSC ZiO-Podolsk General Director Anatoly Smirnov underlines, that “signing of this agreement is an important step towards development of constructive and long-term relations with Hitachi Zosen Inova. The modern technological solutions, including international cooperation with the leading foreign companies in the area of design and production of the process equipment, will be provided to the Customer. I am sure, that advanced technologies leveraging and experience sharing within the frames of the implementation of the joint projects will enable us to offer the most competitive product to the market”.

Currently ZiO-Podolsk is manufacturer and OEM supplier of the power island equipment for the incineration plants, constructed by PT-Invest in Russia on the base of Hitachi Zosen Inova technology. Overall ZiO-Podolsk will manufacture 14 boiler units - by three for each plant in Moscow region and by two for the plant in the Republic of Tatarstan. Hitachi Zosen Inova for its part being a technology partner comprehensively verifies adherence to its technology. The Company’s representatives together with the customer regularly visit PJSC ZiO-Podolsk observe production processes and all control operations.

Received experience of such cooperation will be applicable for joint implementation of the new projects in the field of waste-to-energy recycling both in Russia and abroad.
