On March 12, the International Youth Nuclear Congress (IYNC) 2020 concluded in Sydney (Australia).
During the congress which began on March 9 ROSATOM representatives made over 30 presentations. Two workshops, one by Elena Pashina of Rosatom Overseas and Sergey Malozemov of Akkuyu Nukleer, were praised by the organizers among the best.
The IYNC 2020 concluded with the voting for the right to host the next congress in 2022. Russia along with Kenya, Ukraine and France submitted their applications. The Russian bid was prepared and presented by the ROSATOM enterprises representatives Maria Zotova (OKBM Afrikantov), Valeriya Khorishko (RAIN) and Gennady Karpinsky (Rosatom Overseas). Rusatom International Network and Rosatom Corporate Academy helped preparing the application.

On March 12, following a lengthy discussion and voting by 50 IYNC Permanent Council members from 35 countries it was announced that Russia would host the next IYNC in 2022.
