The two companies consider various options and applications of cooperation, both in nuclear and non-nuclear industries, providing joint promotion of their services and products in the global markets. The priority business area is decommissioning of nuclear and radiation-hazardous facilities.
“For TVEL Fuel Company, decommissioning of nuclear facilities as a contractor or a subcontractor is a new prominent business. During the recent years, our enterprises have gained a unique experience in elimination of the Russian nuclear legacy, including greenfield decommissioning of nuclear installations and waste storage conservation. Our partners from IDOM also have a back-end competence, including decommissioning of  shut-down power unit projects. With the joint expertise, we are able to compete worldwide in international tenders”, Kostantin Tulupov commented.
