Hanoi, October 11-13 - ROSATOM, Hanoi University of Science & Technology (HUST) and Information Center on Nuclear Energy (ICONE) jointly organize the Festival of Science & Technology-2019. 
During the Festival aimed to popularize atomic technologies among the youth of Vietnam  a wide range of lectures and discussions supported by leading experts of Russian nuclear industry were held. 
The event was graced by the Minister-Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Vietnam Mr. Vadim Bublikov, Director of Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Vietnam Ms. Natalia Shafinskata, the leadership of Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM) as well as top experts and journalists in technology, and students from different schools in Hanoi.

Among the conferences and discussions on application of nuclear science in medicine, livelihood, agriculture, the Festival of Science & Technology welcomes guest lectures from nuclear technology scientists, such as National Research Nuclear University MEPhI with “Non-Energy Application of Nuclear Technology” and “Nuclear Energy – Green Energy” public lectures, as well as science fellow of Moscow State University with “Climate change – fact or fake” discussion. HUST representatives shared  their  expertise in “Programs of Education & Research Activities on Nuclear Technology in Vietnam”. Among the public lectures and career orientation activities, attendants enjoyed the wide range of outdoor activities such as “Atomic checkers” and “Physics Quiz” and participated in “Green energy” dancing flash mob. 
The event also hosts the exhibition and screening of Wild Edens:Russia, which is part of a  series of feature-length documentaries about remote and protected nature hideaways, where the ecosystems are especially vulnerable to the effects of global warming, the first movie centers on the unique natural habitats of Russia. Wild Edens is an ambitious project initiated by Rosatom. It is aimed at increasing public awareness of the environment, global warming, climate change and the threat it poses to the ecosystems around the world.
