The document specifies the intention of the parties to develop Russian domestic electronic hardware components to be applied in Instrumentation and Control Systems for nuclear facilities and other enterprises of the Russian energy sector.
In the beginning of its work, the center will develop semiconductor devices and integrated circuits for power converters. The design center will take the lead in supplying trusted microelectronics to enterprises of ROSATOM.
“The design center is going to cover ROSATOM’s demand for microelectronic components, including the tasks related to Instrumentation and Control Systems”, Andrey Butko said.
“It is strategically important for Element Group to expand the network of design centers. They contribute to fast implementation of advanced technologies and speed up the innovative development of enterprises. Our joint design center will allow to unite the capabilities of both companies in research and development, bringing added value to the nuclear industry and Russia as a whole”, Ilya Ivantsov noted.
