The State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” intends to cooperate with the Organizational Committee for prepaparation and holding of the world championship on professional skills WorldSkills Kazan 2019 as well as the national operator of the international movement WorldSkills International (WSI) – the Union «Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia)».
The trilateral agreement of intent was signed on May 25 on the sidelines of SPIEF-2018 by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of ROSATOM Alexey Likhachev and General Director of the Union «Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia)» Robert Urazov.
“The thing is the support by ROSATOM not only baseline competitions but also substantial agenda of the WorldSkills Kazan 2019,” Robert Urazov, General Director of the Union «Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia)» said. ”At the same time as the guys from 79 country-participants WSI will be competing in professional skills, the representatives of the state powers, business and education will discuss trends and ripe transformations in the stall training in the framework of the business program,” he said.
“WorldSkills for ROSATOM is not the sport of records but the tool for assessment and development of the general level of professional competences of workers and increase in the engagement. The essence of this work is to develop the system for the staff training in international standards which would ensure competitiveness of ROSATOM. The main stake in the project is made on forming and development of the sectoral expert community. ROSATOM will be a partner of the championship WorldSkills Kazan 2019, because this is an important event for all spheres of the Russian. The championship will help to see performance of 1,500 participants from more than 70 countries and assess effectiveness of their system for preparation of solving professional tasks of the world level. Also, the business program of the championship will identify and analyze key trends of development of profession in the changing conditions in the national and global markets,” Director General of ROSATOM Alexey Likhachev said.
