Rusatom International Network (a subsidiary of ROSATOM) and IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture S.A.U signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the 10th Anniversary Forum ATOMEXPO 2018 in Sochi, Russia.
The document was signed by Mr Alexander Merten, President of Rusatom – International Network, from the Russian side, and Mr Xabier Ruiz Mor?n, Nuclear Services Director at IDOM, from the Spanish side.
The MoU aims to expand collaboration in the field of maintenance and modernisation of nuclear power plants, which began in 2016 with the signing of the first framework cooperation agreement by the companies.
Other areas where ROSATOM and IDOM Consulting, Engineering, Architecture plan to develop partnership include services and construction of nuclear research facilities, nuclear fuel cycle at back-end stage, decommissioning, as well as the supply of ROSATOM’s equipment for nuclear and thermal power plants.

The main tasks of the company and the regional centres include business development, promotion of Russian nuclear industry’s products and services on the global market, as well as ROSATOM State Corporation global communications support. One of the major functions of the company is the coordination of international operations of ROSATOM.
