The Russian Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA) has highly rated ROSATOM's sustainability performance. It has assigned ESG-3, category ESG-B to ROSATOM, which corresponds to a very high assessment (being in the “green” zone) in the field of ecology, social responsibility and corporate governance.
The assessment of five key divisions of ROSATOM has been conducted through questionnaires, analysis of public and non-public information, including non-financial reporting and corporate governance documents, as well as interviews.
The high result is explained by the company’s favorable environmental impact and social responsibility performance compared to other similar companies, as well as by the high quality of corporate governance. ACRA also noted the company’s implementation of policies and procedures for managing key ESG risks.
A detailed press release with the ESG assessment results is published on ACRA's official website
