Power generation

 

Rosatom comes second in the world in terms of installed nuclear capacity and the number of nuclear units in operation. In total, 35 nuclear units are operated in Russia at 10 nuclear power sites. Total installed capacity of all Russian NPPs amounts to 27.9 GWe, which accounts for 10,9 % of all generating capacity in the national power grid. Nuclear plants generate more than 18,9 % of Russian electricity.
