For information:
Over the past 15 years, the global community has made great strides in attracting women into science, developing girls' abilities in math, physics, and engineering (STEM fields). However, the fair sex still faces restrictions, stereotypes and prejudices in professional activities. Even if they have an excellent technical background, they are much less likely than men to pursue a career in STEM fields. Only one in four female university engineering graduates chooses to work in their field of study.
