Rosatom Technical Academy will hold a roundtable on a topic of “Creating Human Capacities for Advanced Nuclear Technologies” on November 22 within the business program of 12th International Forum ATOMEXPO-2022.
The event will be attended by: Mikhail Chudakov, Deputy General Director and Director of Department of Nuclear Power Engineering, IAEA; Gennady Sklyar, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Industry and Trade; Anton Dyachenko, Project Director and member of the IAEA Training Working Group, Rosatom Technical Academy; Alikaan Ciftci, President, Nuclear Industry Association (NIATR) (Turkey); Yuri Prudnikovich, Head of International Cooperation, Training and Information Support Department, Nuclear Power Engineering Office of the Ministry of Energy (Belarus), etc.
Representatives of IAEA INPRO, Rosenergoatom JSC, leading Russian universities (NITU MISIS, Sakhalin State University, Admiral Nevelsky MSU, NTI 2035 University, etc.) will join the open discussion.
Within the roundtable, the panelists will present international experience in advanced training for the development and implementation of advanced nuclear technologies: what should be the system of forward-looking training for advanced nuclear technologies? Is international cooperation in this area possible? Can common approaches to training for nuclear power plants based on small and fast-neutron reactors be formed? To what extent can the experience of high-capacity NPP personnel training be in demand in the interests of building human capacity for advanced nuclear technologies?
